Baby wipes. I had no idea how huge a topic baby wipes were until I became a Mom.

As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I became obsessed with finding only the purest, most natural products to use on my child. With the internet (literally) at my fingertips and limitless time on my hands, I researched every product available. I was particularly concerned about baby wipes; after all, I would be wiping his skin with them multiple times a day. Every ready-made baby wipe I researched didn't quite meet my newborn standards, so I decided to make my own homemade baby wipes.

This was fine for a while and then he got older. We were spending less time at home and more time out and about. I needed something convenient. Something I could toss in my diaper bag, car, stroller, and keep in every room of the house- because, let's face it, baby wipes are the universal cleaning product. I have a very messy little boy, so you can imagine the number of times each day I have to wipe away a mess from his face, hands, feet, bum, clothing, hair, etc.

Too many.

Oh, you're new to baby wipes? Just wait, soon you'll be...

Using them to clean- the kitchen counters, the hardwood floor, that crayon all over your wall...
To remove make-up
To wipe hands and messy faces
To dust the inside of your car (and everything else)
To wipe down the table
To clean your pet
To clean off whiteboards and chalkboards
To take on-the-go (camping, the beach, restaurants)

Basically, baby wipes are pretty much the greatest invention ever. And now, there is finally a baby wipe out there that is convenient, all natural (translation: chemical free) and suitable for use from birth. With just TWO ingredients, water (99.9%) and Grapefruit seed extract (0.1%), I feel 100% safe using WaterWipes on Octavian.

I discovered WaterWipes nearly 1 year ago while shopping at Target as I was hoping to find an alternative to our current baby wipe. Up on the top shelf (always in the same place) I saw them and written in big blue letters, WaterWipes. I had never heard of them before, but thought I would check to see if the branding was honest or misleading. To my surprise, they were completely legit. I threw a bunch in my cart and haven't looked back (although, Dear WaterWipes, please make travel size packages. Sincerely, Mom who needs a bigger bag).

Since that day, I feel a little less mommy guilt every time I wipe his little body with WaterWipes; after all, I am no longer replacing sticky jam or impossible tree sap with chemicals.
