Sesame Ginger Dressing

I made this sesame ginger dressing for the first time a long time ago, back when I was testing the waters with preparing my own sauces. Since then, it has become one of my favorite go-to salad dressings, marinades or noodle sauces.

It's basically delicious with everything.

I usually double the recipe and keep a jar in the refrigerator for last minute dinner ideas since, yes, like I said, it is good on everything! Marinate beef, chicken or shrimp, pour over rice with roasted vegetables, mix in with your favorite greens, or use it as a stir-fry sauce. The ingredients are simple, but the flavor is huge. Of course, as the name implies, much of the amazing flavor comes from sesame and fresh ginger. If you don't care for either of these ingredients, I recommend cutting each in half (sesame oil has an especially strong flavor).

In other news, my camera wouldn't turn on yesterday. At all. I put on a good face for Octavian, but I was dying inside. My dear husband got it working again, but has no idea how he did it sooooo now I'm terrified to take out the SD card, charge the battery or just try to turn it on. I had THREE recipes ready and set yesterday when nope, my camera decided it would just take the day off.

I was also followed by a police car yesterday for no reason at all. Unless I was swerving and didn't realize it (I did have a toddler and dog in the car), then I am completely confused. I always drive the speed limit (seriously, i'm annoying) and never ever drive while on the phone. It was close to wine-o-clock (320pm), but even I don't start that early. Thankfully he didn't find anything worth pulling me over for, so I am still ticket free! (knock on wood)
